Alto / Mezzo-soprano

I’ve performed across Europe and Asia in opera, oratorios, concerts, events, and remembrance ceremonies.

My work in opera includes the Dutch National Opera, Yo! Opera, the Dutch New Opera Academy and Present Opera.

I sing as an alto or mezzo-soprano soloist in many oratorios, including Karl Jenkins’s The Armed Man, Duruflé’s Requiem, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, and Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater and Magnificat in the U.K., the Netherlands, and Italy.

My recordings include “Echoes of War” with pianist Han-Louis Meijer, and “Fantasia” with the symphonic rock band Simple Harmonic Motion, both produced by Floating World Records.

I also give recitals and lecture recitals.

I enjoy working with philanthropic organisations. I sing for the Christina Nobel Children’s Foundation in Mongolia and Vietnam, for the Gurkha Welfare Trust in Nepal, and for remembrance ceremonies and veterans across the U.K. and Europe.

I read music at the University of Cambridge and studied classical singing and composition at Utrecht Conservatoire and the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. I live in Leiden, near Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
